Help wanted: Manager/Couple Wanted for Nunavut Caribou Hunting Camp: Looking for individual or couple to operate and manage a caribou hunting camp in Nunavut. Camp has 8 guests per hunt long with 4 full time guides.
Ideal candidates should have prior knowledge of caribou hunting operations/guiding along with the following;
– Skinning, caping and boning of meat
– Be motivated, confident, and self-starting with a strong belief in total guest satisfaction
– Have the ability to troubleshoot minor electrical, plumbing or outboard motor issues
– Ability to cook 3 nutritious meals per day for guests and staff, including some baking

Help wanted: Northern Manitoba Fly in Fishing Lodge requires a chef for the term of June 5 to July 5, 2017. Salary commensurate with experience. The Chef will be prepare breakfast, lunch and supper and daily appetizers for between 32-65 guests/staff and will supervise the maintenance and operation of the kitchen/lodge building.
The Chef is responsible for cleaning and setting up the kitchen prior to the start of the season, preparing a meal plan with management, ordering for all related supplies, and cleaning and closing down the kitchen at the end season. Chef will be responsible for all aspects of guest and staff meals, as well as proper cleaning and organization of work area with minimal kitchen help other than at time of service.
All meals are served one dish menu. The same for guests and staff for up to 30 people. Chef will be responsible for prepping and cooking breakfast starting as early as 5 am.
Lunch responsibilities include salads and cookies daily. Dinner consists of 3 courses: soup or salad, main dishes exclusive to our lodge, and make all desserts. Responsible for prepping and preparing all three courses. Must have capacity and drive to meet such standards and work in demanding establishment. We are a remote location working 7 days a week.

Qualifications: Cooking experience is required. Certifications are preferred (e.g., Red Seal, Food Safety Cert.). Experience in a Resort/Lodge environment preferred.
