Annual general meeting

The MLOA’s annual general meeting will take place on Dec. 12, 2017, as part of our 2017 convention.


Lodge and outfitter members are welcome to propose resolutions for debate at our annual general meeting.

Resolutions must be seconded by another member. They will be accepted anytime ahead of our AGM, as well as at the AGM itself. Resolutions that pass become official MLOA policy.

MLOA board elections

Four positions on the MLOA board will be up for election at our 2017 annual general meeting.

The three-year terms expiring at the end of this year include those of the following directors:

Director (Northwest zone): Vacant
Director at large: Mike Adey
Director at large: Paul Conchatre
Director (allieds): Brian Locoshavich

All incumbent directors are welcome to run again for another term. Any other MLOA member who wishes to run for any one of the open positions is welcome to put their name forward as well.

We will accept nominations at any time prior to our AGM, as well as at the AGM itself. Please contact our office to make an official nomination or to put your own name forward.

If any of the positions is contested (ie has more than one nominee interested) then delegates in attendance at the AGM will vote. If only one candidate is nominated for any of the positions, that candidate will be acclaimed.
