Nanuk Operations started off as a guiding company for pro film crews and photographers. Now, as well as the pro services, we offer full tour options for the adventure traveler that lives in all of us! From polar bears to the Aurora and everything in between that Churchill has to offer, we create tours and custom trips that will maximize your time in Churchill and give you everything this beautiful area has to offer!

Whether you are a tourist, professional photographer or a film crew we have you covered. As your guide we will drive you, find you the wildlife and get you in the position you want to get your shots, all while keeping you and the wildlife safe. We have years of on the ground experience with Polar Bears and the wildlife in Churchill.

Tours are operated in 4×4 vehicles utilizing the coastline and trail system around the Town of Churchill. Depending on they day, wildlife and at the discretion of your guide we may be able to exit the vehicles to setup equipment to get ground level viewings and shots.

Caleb worked in the television and film industry in New Zealand for over a decade, first as an actor and later on in various other areas including Post Sound, A.D. work, Producing and shooting.

In 2007 he moved to Canada and then Churchill, where he has over 13 years of experience on the ground and up close with Polar Bears. Caleb has worked both as a guard and guide with crews from all over the world on various projects. Japan, Italy, America, England and with companies such as Discovery, Nat Geo, BBC, Smithsonian, OLN and Animal Planet.

Nanuk Operations aims to provide safe, informative eco-tourism in the Churchill area as it continues to grow as a travel destination for film crews, photographers and tourists from all over the world as they come to enjoy the wildlife and scenery that is available here.
