Bear hunting guide
Riverside Lodge is known throughout the world as a first class professional hunting lodge & outfitter and is known for providing safe excellent service to all their guests. We have a high set of standards for our staff which our customers have come to expect. Riverside Lodge guests are here for an enjoyable fun week of hunting/fishing therefore it is important that all staff have a positive pleasant attitude. A great attitude, work ethic and willingness to learn, is more important than experience.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for, and experience in the role of a Hunting Guide. Knowledge about bear hunting is a huge asset but not necessary. Great understanding of customer service skills and a friendly positive attitude is necessary. However we are willing to train suitable inexperienced applicants.
Must be personable, provide excellent service to guests, clean spoken and in appearance.
Must have or willing to obtain a Manitoba Guide License and First Aid Certification.
Must be physically able to put up tree stands, climb ladders, carry heavy bags of bait, track and retrieve bears, etc.
Position could expand into further guiding opportunities for other game species such as; fall bear, deer, upland and waterfowl. Ideally would prefer to hire people who are be able to work each year as extensive training is provided.
Willing to entertain short term (weekly basis) for those wishing to guide during holiday time away from regular job. Contact for details.

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary
Salary: $120.00-$220.00 per day
Job begins no later than May 1st – June 30th (possibly longer if desired)
