About Manitoba Tourism Education Council
MTEC was established in 1989 as a not-for-profit organization that receives provincial funding to assist the tourism industry in Manitoba in remaining viable, through training their managers, supervisors and employees.

We have worked with thousands of tourism professionals throughout the province. Each year we train roughly 11,000 individuals through our services on-line, at our training centre in Winnipeg and at group sessions across the province.
