Since the 1930's the Marsh has attracted thousands of hunters to this lodge, The Famous Jimmy Robinson Duck Lodge. Founded by the late Jimmy Robinson it is conveniently located on the edge of the Delta Marsh at the south end of Lake Manitoba. The lodge has hosted personalities from all walks of life. Jimmy hunts these waters no more, but you can now enjoy the lodge, the tradition, the shoot and the companionship. Jimmy Robinson was one of the worlds most famous hunting writers and sportsmen; and editor for Sports Afield magazine, and the hunting partner of the biggest names in entertainment, politics and business. Jimmy passed away on June 21, 1986. Jimmy founded his first lodge in 1935 in a farmhouse near Portage Creek on the Delta Marsh. The present lodge was built in 1958 and is located in the Village of St. Ambroise, Manitoba. It's an hour auto trip from the Winnipeg International Airport.
