New Hire! Introducing Emily Day our Executive Assistant
We have recently hired an Executive Assistant, and she checks every box we are looking for! We are thrilled to welcome her to the team and look forward to our members, stakeholders and industry partners getting to know her. Emily will be transitioning into many of the duties currently being filled by our President and work alongside the Board and Executive Director to tackle some projects on the MLOA radar.
A note from Emily 
"Hi everyone, my name is Emily Day. I am so excited to be joining the MLOA! I am originally from Brandon but fell in love with Northern Manitoba and have settled in Cranberry Portage.
Over the past several years I have worked in a variety of different industries including retail, government, and my favorite of them all, Manitoba tourism. I recently completed my Bachelor of Business Administration at Brandon University and prior to that I graduated from Assiniboine College with a Business Admin Diploma.
Outside of work, my passion is undoubtedly the outdoors! Whether it be fishing, boating, hiking, or exploring trails with our new puppy, I am happiest when I am outside!
I am especially happy to join an organization that shares my commitment to sustainability and respect for outdoor tourism. I am excited for the opportunities to come with the MLOA and am eager to meet everyone!"
