Transport Canada Stalling on Flight Duty Times (NOTO)

"Despite the ongoing efforts of the Coalition of Northern Air Services and Stakeholders (CNASS) to advocate for regulatory flexibility regarding the flight duty times, we have recently been informed that the Minister is wavering on moving ahead with the Global Exemptions. As one of the lead organizations in CNASS, NOTO is deeply disappointed by this development.

We continue to urge all operators, whether you are an air service provider, a remote outpost operator, or a business or community that depends on air services, to contact Minister Chrystia Freeland and request the immediate implementation of the proposed global exemptions."
