Important Updates to Manitoba’s Master Angler Program Taking Effect June 29
As the Manitoba Master Angler Program celebrates its 66th anniversary, several important updates will take effect on June 29th 2026.
Changes include updated eligibility and photo requirements, a new Non-Compliance policy, and increased qualifying sizes for Black Crappie, Bullhead, and Channel Catfish.
These updates are designed to protect the integrity of North America’s longest-running Master Angler Program and ensure it continues to reflect modern challenges and best practices.
